The basic track was called “Dishhunt” created in 1981 as seen from a setlist from fall that year. Most of the tracks on that list were released on our album “4our Clicks”. ‘Vacuum’ became ‘Waiting Room’, ‘Livin Doll’ became ‘Not Your Living Doll’, ‘Reveal’ is ‘No Touch and Go’, ‘Count’ is ‘Nosedive’. The tracks ‘Fontanella’ and ‘Watinki’ and ‘Brainwaves’ were never recorded in a studio. ‘Dishhunt’ is now used to give a review on the song ‘Take a Look’ from the “4our Clicks” album: ‘Took a Look?’
Dishhunt also is the name of a band formed by Joop van Brakel, Toon Bressers and Peter Sijbenga, performing 2002-2003. Dishhunt released an album called “Maybe Home” (2002).
One year after the release of the album ‘4our Clicks’ (january 1982) it was still one of the favorites amongst the readers of the popular music magazine ‘Vinyl’. This top 50 of best sold albums also gives an impression on what music was doing great at that time:
did you (did you)
take a look (take a look)
did you (did you)
look around (look around)
tell me (tell me)
what you saw (what you saw)
tell me (tell me)
did you care (did you care)
tell me
tell me
tell me
did you care
sometimes you saw that poor soul
taking real good looks around
sometimes you did see a head
could not stop turning round
tried to fix his eyes
fixed his eyes in vain
turned his head around
turned again and
turned again and
dishhunt dishhunt dishhunt dishhunt
did you (did you)
take a look (take a look)
did you (did you)
look around (look around)
tell me (tell me)
what you saw (what you saw)
tell me (tell me)
did you care (did you care)
tell me
tell me
do you care
